The sandpaper letters guide the children’s hand as well as the shape of the letters in the way and direction they are written.

The child also learns to distinguish between consonants and vowels because the consonants are on a blue background while the vowels are on a pink background.

There is a margin on the left side of each plate (unfortunately for left-handers) so the child can hold it with one hand while tracing the letter with the other.

The height of each plate is: 5 cm.

This product is an educational material, not a toy.

Not recommended for children under 3 without adult supervision.

To introduce the sandpaper letters to the child, you will start with three at a time.

Presentation stages:

  1. Every time you show him a letter, grope it as it is written and finally name it. ATTENTION: “ααα” not “alpha”. Now it’s the child’s turn.
  2. After showing three letters, you can then play with questions like ‘Where is α? Grope it! Can you show me λ? Grope it! Did you place the φ on this side? Make it up!” Shuffle them and ask him again!
  3. Ask him to name the letters for you. “Which is that?” “How did you say that? Louder, I did not hear! We want him to say it confidently, to feel confident! We want the whole process to be done in a playful way and to be pleasant for the child!

Tip: The letters shown must be different in shape and sound. For example, do not show the letter “α” and the letter “ο” at the same time.
