This Sweeping Guide is made of red oak wood. Edges are carefully sanded. It finishes with non-toxic oil which allows the wood to breath and when you touch you can still feel the real wood.
It is usually used together with broom in Montessori environment. This item really helps the children sweep. By placing this sweeping guide on the floor the child can have a point of reference. They know exactly where to gather all the dirt and then use a brush and dustpan to finish the job.
