The next mobile to introduce to your baby, after Munari, is the Octahedron Mobile.
This mobile consists of mirrored cardboards in the main colors yellow, red and blue. It should be used at about 6 weeks of age.
Primary colors are used because a baby can distinguish between high-contrast dark colors. The shapes in this mobile are octahedrons made of triangles with all equal sides.
It provides your baby with three-dimensional images and allows your baby to use both eyes at the same time.
The reflections she/he sees on the mirrored cardboard allow your baby to focus his attention on an object for a long time. It allows her/him to think about the colors and shapes he sees and supports the early development of the baby’s brain.
